Santa Ana Pueblo, NM (May 28, 2025) – Staying true to its core values of social and educational investment, AMERIND, the country’s only 100 percent Tribally owned insurance carrier, presented the National American Indian Housing Council (NAIHC) with a $200,000 check to support their efforts in advocating for and improving life, safety, and access to affordable housing in Indian Country.
AMERIND and NAIHC have a long-standing partnership rooted in providing Tribal Governments and other entities with quality training opportunities that support improving housing conditions in Native American communities, advancing housing infrastructure development, and expanding economic and community development across Indian Country.
The check was presented during NAIHC’s 51st Annual Convention & Tradeshow on May 27 in Los Angeles, California. The convention brings together tribal housing and related industry
professionals for education and training, as well as networking, mentoring, sharing best practices, innovation, identifying resources and recognizing industry champions.
