SAN DIEGO – JUNE 27, 2019 – San Diego’s Favorite® casino, Valley View Casino & Hotel has completed their luxurious $50 million expansion and renovation project. The construction began in April 2018 and will be celebrated July 3, 2019 with a Grand Opening Ribbon Cutting Ceremony. The 43,000 square foot expansion sets the stage for even more exciting guest experiences at the upscale Valley View Casino & Hotel. Valley View hopes to build upon their longstanding reputation as San Diego’s finest casino for gaming and dining since opening their doors in 2001.
In addition to their world-famous Maine Lobster Buffet and Black&Blue Steakhouse, the expansion includes a stunning new restaurant and bar, Patties & Pints, offering gourmet burgers, creative sandwiches and salads, decadent desserts and a full bar, featuring an extensive list of craft and draft beer. Patties & Pints overlooks the casino floor as well as the grand casino entrance, and contains outdoor views, 140 dining seats plus 20 seats at the bar and a standalone take-out area. Also, completed renovation of the former BLDs restaurant, now called The Café, serves breakfast, brunch and lunch and overlooks the picturesque Palomar Mountain Range. Both restaurants are open seven days a week.
The new indoor water wall sits steps away from the 30-foot glass-enclosed main entrance, creating a breathtaking atmosphere. Guests will also see numerous enhancements to the entire casino floor, taking their experience to a whole new level of elegance. The expanded casino offers more opportunities for exceptional dining, gaming and most importantly, winning. The complete renovation of 143,000 square feet includes the main casino, non-smoking casino, high limit slot area and VIP lounge, along with 250 new state-of-the-art slot machines and 11 new table games. A new Players Club is also open, in addition to a new promotions, gift and slot tournament area. The expansion also made way for six new restrooms including two companion care restrooms, and two beautiful new guest entrances.

Earlier this year, the renovation of the award-winning Maine Lobster Buffet at Valley View Casino & Hotel was completed.
