Santa Fe, NM (November 27, 2024) – 4KINSHIP, a proud Indigenous (Diné) woman-owned brand, is thrilled to announce the INDIGENOUS FUTURES 4EVER NextGen Holiday Market in celebration of Native American Heritage Day. This two-day event showcases the talent of 30 emerging Indigenous artists, each bringing their unique heritage, skills, and vision to the community. Discover a wide range of handmade art, jewelry, clothing, food, and home goods that reflect both tradition and innovation. Diné skaters Shawnshine Harrison and Peyton Alex are making hand-painted skateboards, and you can also grab some cool Diné Skate Garden Project gifts with proceeds funding more skateboards for kids on the Navajo Nation!
Held at the vibrant Santa Fe Railyard, this event is free for both participating artists and the community, providing a unique opportunity for connection and celebration. 4KINSHIP invites the Santa Fe community to join them in recognizing the remarkable contributions of Native American entrepreneurs and supporting this next generation of creative talent. The INDIGENOUS FUTURES 4EVER NextGen Holiday Market is more than just a shopping experience—it’s a chance to support the next generation of Indigenous creators and invest in their stories and futures. Whether you’re looking for one-of-a-kind holiday gifts or simply want to connect with the community, this event is a meaningful way to embrace and celebrate Indigenous artistry.
“It is important to celebrate this day that for most of the world is ‘Black Friday’, but as a Diné-owned brand, we wanted to host Native American Heritage Day to be a celebration to honor of Native American creativity. And what better way than to support our next gen? We’re excited to invite our Santa Fe community to join us in making this a wonderful welcome for these young artists,”~ Amy Denet Deal, founder of 4KINSHIP.
The festivities kick off on Friday, November 29th, from 10 AM to 5 PM, continuing through Saturday, November 30th, from 8 AM to 5 PM. Music vibes by Diné DJ Beeso.
