Gust Soteropulos has joined Tutor Perini Corporation as executive vice president of Tutor Perini Building Corp. His responsibilities will include all operations for the company’s Western Division and specific clients nationwide. He joined the company with over 40 years of industry experience.
Gust obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Iowa State University. He is also a USGBC LEED® Accredited Professional and a Registered Professional Civil Engineer. The Los Angeles Business Journal named him one of the Top 500 Most Influential People in 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021.
Beginning his career as a field engineer with worldwide assignments, Gust advanced through the years to include experience in all facets of the industry, providing solutions for the most complicated projects.
Most recently, Gust held an executive position as senior vice president/general manager of Webcor Builders for 13 years, responsible for Webcor’s Southern California Group.
Before joining Webcor, Gust was vice president of Swinerton Builders for 12 years. He was responsible for leading their Los Angeles division’s operations.
