(January 3, 2022) – TribalHub is pleased to announce plans for an exciting year full of events in 2022. After a tremendously successful return to in-person, for TribalNet 2021, the team is eager to keep this momentum going. With something happening in nearly every month of the calendar year- there will be plenty of opportunities to engage and gain benefit and value from participating in multiple events being offered this upcoming year.
Beginning in March, the regional events will kick off virtually with a focus on the regions of California and the Northwest. In May, these will shift to in- person events for both Michigan and the Midwest regions. In June, TribalHub will host another in-person event for the Southwest region. The team is also excited to expand the reach of these events to Alaska in July. TribalHub’s regional events will wrap up with a final, in-person event in the Central region in November.
The regional events present a unique opportunity for technology-minded professionals, and/or leaders working in tribal enterprises, government or health centers, to connect with one another on a smaller scale than TribalHub’s annual event which sees attendance from across the nation. Regional event attendees can benefit from the chance to discuss regional challenges and opportunities, all while getting to know each other and building their professional network.
TribalHub also plans to host the 2nd Annual Tribal Cybersecurity Summit on June 16. This event will be held virtually, to allow for a nationwide audience. This summit agenda is specifically tailored to leadership executives and technology professionals working in tribal gaming, tribal government or tribal health facilities, as they face unique cybersecurity challenges and seek ways to improve their security posture. The summit will be sponsored by several security providers as well as the non-profit, Tribal-ISAC, the information security sharing community for tribes.
Finally, the 23rd Annual TribalNet Conference and Tradeshow will be held in-person, in September this year, as opposed to in November as has been tradition in recent years. The event will take place September 12-15, 2022 in Reno, Nevada at the Grand Sierra Resort and Casino.
Shannon Bouschor, Director of Operations, commented on this change in dates, saying, “We are very excited about announcing our dates and site for TribalNet 2022. The September dates will offer participants an earlier start in their year for so many things that they gain at TribalNet. It allows more time to discover and evaluate new solutions for the upcoming budget season, it provides a time of year where travel is more favorable, and it allows for more room in the current year for making new connections and building professional networks. All things that our participants love the most about attending the Annual TribalNet Conference and Tradeshow. Our advisory boards and team are excited about this change and believe that it’s a big advantage to all participants.”
The Annual Conference and Tradeshow has become an industry cornerstone for both technology professionals and non-technical leaders working in tribal enterprises, government and health centers. The week-long event consists of 40+ learning sessions within six different tracks, plenty of networking opportunities that create lasting relationships and connections, plus a tradeshow floor with over 100 technology vendors who understand the tribal space and are committed to serving it well.
Those working in tribal enterprises, tribal governments and tribal health with a focus on technology or leadership should look to connect with one another by attending these events in 2022. There will be a great deal of information and learning shared both from industry experts as well as peer-to-peer connections. Which is really what TribalHub has been, and continues to be all about. TribalHub will be sharing opportunities for sponsors, speakers and attendees for all of these events in the coming weeks. For more information, follow TribalHub on LinkedIn or visit tribalhub.com.
