HORSHAM, PA (October 6, 2023) – As part of its strategic plan, Spectrum Gaming Group announced that Executive Vice President Joseph Weinert will be joining Spectrum’s Management Committee as well as coordinating new initiatives at Spectrum, including strategic alliances with subject-matter experts from around the globe. With this new structure, Spectrum will be able to deliver significantly enhanced services to the global gaming industry, its regulators, operators and suppliers.
Weinert, who joined Spectrum in 2004, will be responsible for projects including gaming market analyses for all sectors, feasibilities, economic impact studies, and patron market research, among other areas. In addition, he will continue to play a central role in planning conference content for the Winter and Summer meetings of the National Council of Legislators from Gaming States (NCLGS), for which Spectrum serves as Executive Director, and the Racing and Gaming Conference at Saratoga.

Weinert began analyzing the gaming industry in 1996 as casino business reporter for The Press of Atlantic City. Since joining Spectrum, he has directed numerous large-scale projects throughout North America, as well as in Czechia, Russia, Slovakia, Spain and the United Kingdom. He has been a panelist, presenter or moderator at more than 75 professional conferences worldwide, and he is regularly quoted in prominent media outlets throughout the country.
